Langmuir Systems Crossfire Pro // Razer-Weld 45
Our CNC plasma table is a fully automated machine powered by the use of CAD (computer animated design) and CAM (computer aided manufacturing) software. Ideas are brought into the virtual world by digitally tracing images, designing parts in a 3D software, and then by programming the cutting parameters and toolpaths.
Material Types: Mild Steel (Preferred), Stainless Steel, Aluminum
Minimum Thickness: 0.062" (Preferred to avoid warping), 0.032" (Absolute Minimum)
Maximum Thickness: 0.500" (Mild Steel), 1/4" (Stainless Steel / Aluminum)
Machine Tolerance: 0.032"
Forming
12-Ton Press
We currently use a stand-alone manual press with a 12-ton capacity. Arbor plates and upper and lower dies were added to achieve accurate bends with a standard bend radius.
We are actively looking at options for upgrading in this department.
Maximum Bending Length by Thickness: 12" (12ga or thinner steel), 6" (1/4" plate), 3" (1/2" plate)
Maximum Bending Angle: 95 degrees
*** We also offer a form of box brake bending which allows us to form longer pieces of steel. This process typically involves adding relief cuts to the piece along the bend line which can be welded over for strength in required applications. ***
Welding
Primeweld MIG 285
New to our shop in 2024 is the PrimeWeld 285-amp MIG welder. As a standard, we run 0.035" solid wire with C25 mixed gas.
The machine also offers the ability to perform lift-TIG and Stick welding for applications that require alternative processes to be utilized.
